Joining forces

Joining Forces

I am going to talk today about joining forces. Why is this important to join forces? Why would this be an advantage to your business? Does your business benefit from joining forces with other leaders?

Joining forces with other leaders can be very good for your business. This can help with energy. Energy is very important in any business. When your energy is bouncing around with your partners so many ideas and thoughts will surface that might otherwise not have come out. This is commonly referred to as brainstorming. It also is called forming a mastermind group.

It is also important to join forces because the more people involved the better service to your customers you can provide. When you provide great customer service with your business partners then there is a drive and trust that will form between all of you.

This causes an advantage for your business because you stand out and attract attention to your business as well as to the forces that you have joined with. It is important to attract the type of people that you want to do business with and to cultivate those relationship to maturity. Do the things you say and fulfill your agreements as you would want them done to you.

All of this brings me to inform everyone that I have joined forces with Jason Croxford and Mike Erwin and we have formed a coaching and Mentoring community for business people. There is no selling here and there are no fees with this group. I would be honored if you would come and join us at http://theleadersrole.com we are expecting to have every thing live shortly! To make sure that you get the alert when the system goes live please fill in the form on the left beside the video. Thanks so every one in advance!

Mastermind

Mastermind

Today I want to talk to you about mastermind. Do you know how important it is to have a mastermind? Are you the master of your own mind? When do you need to get a mastermind together?

Well all of these are very good questions. I will attempt to answer them and give you useful information on them all. First let's talk about what is a mastermind. A mastermind is a group of like minded individuals that either have what you want or want the same things that you want. This group can be small or large, it does not matter what the size is. This is incredibly powerful because these people will help you to achieve your goals and stay on point. So now we have defined mastermind as well as defined the importance of having one.

The next thing we should talk about here is: Are you a master of your own mind? Now this one is a little complicated and takes a little more time for most people usually. You see you have to learn how to think. We as humans have been used to thinking in terms that are contradictory to what we really want in life. After long study of the Law of Attraction, I have learned that we must master our minds and train them to think in a manner that brings to us we want. This is not as easy as one might think. I can tell you that it takes practice and you must form affirmations to remind you of your goals when you find yourself in a negative place. I highly recommend you youtube the SECRET and read the Law of attraction. The one thing I want to leave you with here is that you absolutely MUST master your mind if you ever want true success.

It is important to form your mastermind group as soon after you can get a good handle on mastering your mind. The reason for that is that you will need to have their support from time to time as well as their energy because by and large the world will be against you. This group can be separate from your business or a group from your chosen business.

As always it is my pleasure to share this information with you. I hope you got something from it as well as will SHARE this with others. Thanks again.

Goal setting

Goal Setting

We hear alot about goal setting and it's importance. I will confess I was not a big goal setter and really for a long time thought that is was a waste of time. I mean I was like I can be doing something so much more productive that setting goals I know where I want to go. Well let me tell you........I was so wrong.

One day I was talking, more like complaining with one of my mentors and I was telling him that I could not understand why I wasn't getting where I wanted to go and that I was working really hard. He asked me what my goals to help me get there were? I was like what? He said tell me what your goals are that will help you reach the end of your journey. I was like I don't have any....he started laughing, which made me furious and then told me I was like so many others that just pick up a hand full of mud and sling it at the wall to see how much sticks. I was so mad because he was making fun of me. I could have killed him. So I am standing there wondering what goals have to do with me getting where I wanted to go and thinking do I really want to ask him what he means? I mean I was already mad, but in the back of my mind I kept hearing the only stupid question is the one you don't ask......so I said to him what do you mean? He said he was glad that I asked and gave me this to think about.

He said Kris when you want to build a house do you run out and start nailing boards together? I laughed and said no! I thought he was still making fun of me at this point. He said what do you do? I said well you have to have a plan or blueprint. He said exactly. With that plan you have to have some goals to measure your progress as well. I stood there and now I really felt dumb. A light bulb went off over my head and I realized that goals setting is just a tool for measuring progress and with out it you don't know if you are moving forward or backward. OMG why oh why did I not get this sooner?

Well that has been awhile back and I can tell you that every time I set goals I always get things done and faster than I think I will. So if you are like alot of people myself included that thought or thinks that goal setting is a waste of time.....well think again!

If I can leave you with one thing, learn from my mistake. Set goals and get good at it. It will take a little time to get there but I promise you will save way more time by taking a few minutes to set those goals than if you are just doing it.

Thanks for reading this today and please SHARE this with others. You never know who it might help. I invite you to sign up for my newsletter full of things that don't make it to the net. Thanks again!

Teamwork

Teamwork

We hear this word used all the time and we think YEAH that is what I am looking for, but does it really mean anything? What I mean here is that there are alot of businesses that say lets be a team and we will all win with teamwork, but when you get to looking at them it is another story all together.

I want to give an example here; keeping company names out of the story. Some years back I was with a company that really pushed the word teamwork. They talked about it all the time and it seemed to be important. So getting involved with this company and following the mentors that I had in place at the time I began to work. Now alot of times we get into business with out a "good" understanding of the compensation plan and when we begin to work and see what makes the checks roll, we see that the picture can and usually is different than what we thought. Long story short I was really trying to get my team to have a teamwork mentality. Now if teamwork is in place then that says to me that we all work together to insure each others success. I quickly learned that me helping certain people did not put any money in my pocket and that the more I helped other people the less money I made. This is not TEAMWORK to me!

So when you hear the word teamwork, make sure that you get a clear definition of the word from the company and the person that you are looking to join. You may be like me and have one thought and reality could be alot different. Also examine the compensation plan and make sure that it encourages teamwork in it's pay structure. Teamwork in the compensation plan can make a huge difference in the speed of the income you are looking for.

I hope that this has given you something to think about and that it has helped you as well. I also hope that you will share this with someone that maybe benefit from the information as well. Thanks you for stopping by and reading my blog!

Is there a difference?

Is there a difference?

Two words interest and commitment. Is there a difference in what someone is saying to you with the use of these words? I think so, and it has been my experience over the years that brings me to my opinion.

Let's talk about interest. Interest says to me I want more information, it says I am listening. It says that I may want to do something that you are telling me about.

Now commitment on the other hand. This says to me I am in. I have made my mind up that this is something I will do. There is no need for further discussion.

Now when it comes to these two words and your business, which one are you looking for? Do you want the one that gets involved and says I am interested or the one that says, we are going to take this one all the way to the top! I don't know about you but to me there is a huge difference. Mostly the difference is in the mindset. Mindset can break or make someone. If someone makes their mind up that they are committed to something, nothing can or will stop them from doing what ever it is that they are involved with.

When you are in business it is important to know where your people stand and what level they are on. Learn this now and save yourself alot of time, headache, and aggravation. If you have someone that you want to help and they are not committed you may want more for them than they do and you will beat your head against the wall trying to get them into success, when it is not you or your teaching it is simply them.

I hope this helps you or someone you know and you will share it accordingly. Please follow and comment if you like as I use the comments to tailor my post. Thanks alot for stopping by and letting me help you.

Today's lesson

Today's lesson

Today I wish to talk to you about honesty. I know I know everyone knows what honesty is. But for some reason it seems that people do not understand it completely.

Honesty is huge in business, any business! It is equally important in your everyday life as well. Strangely enough not enough people get that. They let money or the thought of money get in the way of themselves. When you are looking for a friend, mentor, coach, business partner etc, you always look for honesty in everything. It is what all good relationships should be built on. If this is so then why do so many say one thing and do another? My grandfather would call this talking from both sides of your mouth. Meaning that you say one thing when you really mean and intend to do another.

This happens alot in today's world and it really should be the opposite. With today's economy you would think that people would fall back on values more, but instead they look for the number on peoples head; usually associated with how much they can make by "helping" you. This is sad and may offend some of you, but the truth hurts and this is something that you absolutely need to know in this world. Someone has to tell you. If that is me, well then at least you have gotten the information right?

Make your life a happier place and a more comfortable environment stay with the truth. It always has a way of surfacing anyway. Look for it, it is out there and there are people that will help you along the way. The journey is fun and can be very profitable when you watch your steps!

Thank you for coming to get this info and I hope you will take it where it needs to go. Thanks again!
